I was ordained in the United Church of Christ in January 1998 and have served churches as a pastor ever since. I have guided people to greater insight about themselves and others, helping them find their way with God.

I was married for 23 years to a man I met in college. I have one daughter who is soon to be married (by me). My, now, ex-husband and I came to a place of irreconcilable differences and divorced amicably. However, the moment of breaking shattered my intention of being married “til death do us part.” I felt ashamed and lost. Thankfully, I was pastored by another pastor who kept my focus on the love of Jesus.
And, then, I discovered God had plans for me beyond the walls of my understanding. I fell in love with a woman. In November of 2023 I “came out” to my family and the church I served that I am in a committed romantic relationship with a woman named Linda. I intimately understand the difficult journey from a traditional faith into one that is more expansive and welcoming of all of who you are.
I live the Christian faith, following Jesus, trusting in God, and praying for the continual guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because the world keeps on changing, I continue to grow seeking new insight into others, better ways to engage the world, and to help others live their most inspired lives.
My passion is working with people who seek to grow in their confidence, courage, and creativity to meet challenges. I’m certified to use the Prepare/Enrich Series with couples who are preparing for marriage or seek to re-ignite their marriage. I’ve pastored many people who identify as LGBTQIA.
